5 DRAW DIZZY Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 1: a. Draw a large oval for the body. b. Draw three ovals on the inside for the eyes and mouth. Step 2: a. Draw two circles on either side of the body for the side fins. b. Draw a cut off half-moon on the top of the body for the upper dorsal fin. c. Draw another circle at the below the body for the tail. Step 3: a. Erase the upper halves of the side fin circles. b. On the right side, draw a curved line from the oval body to the tip of the right circle to make the right fin. c. On the left side, draw a waving line from the upper part of the mouth circle to the tip of the half circle for the left fin. d. On the left side, draw a wavy line from the bottom half of the mouth circle around the half circle making up the left fin to complete the fin. e. Drawing the mouth. Draw the right half of the mouth to mimick the curve of the left half created by the lines to the left fin. Draw a second upper line on the inside of the mouth circle that meets the upper mouth line just below the left eye. Draw another line for the bottom of the mouth. Erase all extra lines. f. Tail: Erase the lower half of the tail circle. Draw a line as show above to make the tail look like a crescent moon Step 4: a. Draw a line that runs from the lower half of the left side of the mouth to the left side fin, mimicking the curve of the fin. b. Draw a similar line for the right side fin. c. Draw two curved lines on the left and right of the tail, connecting it to the body d. At the lower center of the tail, erase the line and draw in an arrow, as show above. Step 5: Almost finished! a. Draw in the eyes and eyebrows b. Draw a closed e inside the mouth for the tongue TIP: If you are having trouble, try tracing these forms first until you get the hang of drawing Dizzy.
