To further reduce the risk of enteral tube feeding misconnections and improve patient safety the ENFit connection has been introduced in-line with ISO This new standard connector has a unique enteral-specific desgin that does not allow connectivity to any other connector for other clinical uses. HOW DOES THE ENFit CONNECTION PERFORM? Adminisration sets and syringes for enteral feeding incorporate a female connector end that connects to the male connector of the feeding port. WHEN IS THE TRANSITION HAPPENING? June 1st to December 31st Transition adapters are available to help manage existing stocks during the transition to the new ENFit system. WHAT DO THE ADAPTERS LOOK LIKE? WHAT IS DASH3? Yes, the new range will have different codes as during the transition period you may want to order both. WHERE CAN WE GET THE NEW ENFit SYSTEM?
