Thus, the embryo will be protected against cervical contaminations during the transfer. The echogenic insertion sheath with shape memory makes it possible to pass all cervical profiles, even the most difficult ones. 23 3 Frydman Ultrasoft Echo The use of ultrasoft catheters reduces the risk of inducing uterine contractions. To facilitate the catheter insertion, the rigid introduction sheath will help passing the cervix. The Frydman UItrasoft Echo catheter has an echogenic ring at its tip, to control the catheter position under ultrasound guidance. 24 3 TDT set The TDT set is composed of: an insertion sheath with flexible tip and two markings at 5,5 and 6,5 cm ; a malleable metalic stylet that can be used to shape the sheath to adapt it to the cervical profile of the patient, in order to facilitate the insertion of the sheath ; a ultra-thin transfer catheter supported in its proximal section to facilitate its manipulation.
