The Annual Ideagen UN Empowering Women & Girls 2030 Summit will include the unveiling of the 2017 Ideagen list of the 100 Individuals and Organizations Empowering Women & Girls across the planet. Luminaries from across sectors will present and convene to discuss key challenges and to develop solutions to empowering women & girls across the planet.

3 Ideagen 2017 FOCUS With women becoming more prevalent in c-suite positions, we want to focus on the challenges they faced to get there and the changes they can make to establish the pipeline for future generations of women to be successful. There is a strong demand for girls at a young age to be taught the importance that anything is possible. We will hear from some amazing entrepreneurs who have taken the initiative to solve issues on women s health, equality and education. The old belief that we are living in a man s world is being shattered. Through the extraordinary work that women entrepreneurs and leading corporations are doing around the world, we are now on a path to empower. The focus of this year s Empowering Women and Girls Summit on July 20th at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City will be Business and Entrepreneurship.

4 We will hear from leading women who have identified some of today s most vexing issues and have taken a collaborative approach to innovate and achieve sustainable impact. The summit will focus on a range of issues including economic development, healthcare, aging, education, nutrition, and technology and how business leaders and entrepreneurs are developing sustainable solutions. Our mission is to provide a platform for extensive in-depth dialogue on existing barriers and challenges that we face today, so we can develop solutions that will provide women and girls an opportunity to improve their lives and their contribution to the world we live in.
