This revision specifically requires transportation entities make reasonable modifications/accommodations to policies, practices, and procedures to avoid discrimination and ensure that their programs are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Ben Englander, Rosco Vision Systems The Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP) has received an IDEA grant from the Transportation Research Board to run a pilot program of a first generation collision avoidance system developed bymobileye/rosco. WSTIP will provide an overview of this pilot in conjunction with their business partners from Munich RE and Mobileye/Rosco. They will also share and lead a discussion surrounding the status of automated safety technology for Public Transit through various research programs across the United States.
