January 10, 2018 Dear Parents, The second nine week grading period ended December 19, 2017. In an effort to be good stewards of the finances of the school we are continuing the policy of holding report cards and blocking access to the grades on PlusPortals of any student whose tuition or any fees are more than sixty days in arrears unless special arrangements have been made with the business office. Report cards will go home via email only on January 12, 2018. Please make sure we have your correct email address. You may send an email with updated contact information to Anewsom@stlouismemphis.org.

And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And the King will answer them, Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me. Mt 25:38, 40 St. Louis shares responsibility with several other churches to host Room In The Inn (RITI). RITI provides two meals and a safe, warm place for the homeless to sleep by using churches and other under-used facilities to host 10-15 guests. The guests also have an opportunity to shop for clothes. RITI always needs the following clothing items: Coats and jackets, Packages of underwear (all sizes for men and women), Socks, and Adult Shoes. This weekend RITI will have a box in the narthex for donations of the items listed above. If you have any questions, please call Chuck Weirich (901-550-2241).

Traveling Crucifix Traveling Crucifix Program at St. Louis Parish If you would like a way to take part in prayer for vocations in our diocese, please consider taking home the traveling crucifix for a week. We are asking parishioners to sign up to take home our traveling crucifix to have in their home as a reminder to pray for vocations. Prayers are requested for an increase in those who are called, for those discerning, for those who have accepted the call, and for strengthening for those who have already entered priestly or religious life. If you have questions or would like to sign up, please contact Alex Gray at grayp1970@yahoo.com. There is one date left in December, and we are signing up for January now.
