Coping with Cancer Symposium The experience of cancer can be extremely challenging for patients, families, and clinicians. Sensitive attention to psychosocial needs is an essential component of comprehensive cancer care. This course is designed to provide data driven and practical recommendations for coping with the challenges of cancer. Target audience: This conference has been designed for Oncology, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians and others, including physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, psychologists, clergy, pharmacists, physical therapists, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, patient advocates, individuals coping with cancer treatment, caregivers, family members and cancer survivors.
