If you dream of a straighter smile but don t want to go through traditional orthodontic treatment, may be the option for you. clear aligners are the braces of the future they straighten your teeth without the hefty wires traditional braces use. The treatment includes a series of custom-made clear aligners made for you and your unique smile. These are clear plastic trays which apply gentle pressure to slowly move your teeth. During your treatment, you will wear each set of aligners for about two weeks before you switch to the next set. How does the system work? Step 1 Firstly, your -trained dentist will take photos, X-rays, and digital scans or a digital impression to help create your new treatment plan. Step 4 Your first series of aligners are given to you typically 3-4 sets at a time. You will wear these every day and change them at home every two weeks. Step 5 You will need to visit your dentist approximately every 6-8 weeks. At these times, your treatment progress will be monitored, and you will receive your next series of aligners. Step 6 After you have completed your treatment, you should wear a retainer to assist in maintaining the position of your new alignment. 4
