Apologies Bob and Lianne said they were unable to attend the committee meeting next week on Monday 19 th September and asked that we gave their apologies. Future events and activities Clare explained that the Fundraising Group had met this morning and had agreed the following programme of events;

Voice for All Film Nights The Film Nights are a great success and enjoyed by many people. They are very well supported and people have asked for them to be held on a regular basis. The group agreed to hold a film night every month and have agreed the following; The Bucket List Wednesday 21 st September As September is Macmillan Cancer Month, we have agreed to hold a Charity Film Night and Coffee evening. We will be eating cake and watching The Bucket List, a film about two men who have cancer. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Monday 24 th October 2016 One of the world s famous and best loved musicals and films about a car that can fly! Doors open at 6.30pm and film starts at 7pm. Mrs Doubtfire Monday 21 st November 2016 A very funny film starring Robin Williams. As usual, doors will open at 6.30pm and film starts at 7pm.

White Christmas Monday 19 th December 2016 An old time Christmas Classic with Bing Crosby singing I m dreaming of a White Christmas. Again, doors open at 6.30pm and film starts at 7pm. We loved the website and thought it looked great. We are very happy with all information and photographs that are on it and we like that it is accessible to people. We thought our website was a great way of letting our members and the general public know all about us and keeping them up to date. Thank you to John for helping to manage our site and for keeping everything up to date. CCG Action Plan update We went through the Action Plan. We need to start looking at some more actions including producing easy read leaflets, and reviewing the Big White Wall. John will contact Dawn and make arrangements for us to meet.

Voice for All 2016 Action Plan Update We looked at our own Action Plan. We have made lots of progress but there is still lots of work to be done. We asked John to kindly update the Action Plan on our behalf. We will then make plans to work on some more actions. Minutes of last week s meeting Ann, Becky, Chris C and Lianne helped Bob to read out and share the minutes from the meeting held on 5 th September. The Committee members were asked to show their green or red cards to say they were happy or unhappy with the minutes. Everyone showed their green cards to approve and accept the minutes. John was asked to email them to everyone on behalf of Voice for All and to send them to every area and put them on the website. POST Becky said that there was no post for Voice for All this week. EMAILS Lianne used the smartboard to open up Voice for All s emails and to help John share the information.

Keeping the CCG s up to date John had emailed Dawn to give her an update of what Voice for All had done so far. This included; CCG meetings and Consultations Sharing Patients Stories Facebook and online safety training Attending CCG s AGM s Lots of Easy Read available John sent an email to let us know that there is lots of Health related easy read information available. Articles for VoiceBOCS John shared the four articles he has written on our behalf for the next edition of VoiceBOCS. Unfortunately we ran out of time to look at any more of our emails. We agreed to look at them at next week s meeting instead.
