46 TH ANNUAL Recent Advances in Neurology Ritz-Carlton Hotel, CA This meeting is designed for the practicing neurologist and provides a review of clinical neurology with emphasis on areas of recent neurological advances and progress in patient management. Both current concepts and new advances in neurologic disorders will be covered. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES The purpose of this program is to increase competence and improve clinical practice in neurology, specifically to: Improve application of new concepts in dementing disease, multiple sclerosis, migraine, and Parkinson's disease; Improve the diagnosis and management of stroke, disorders of sleep, and vertigo. ACCREDITATION The University of California, School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. UCSF designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit TM. This CME activity meets the requirements under California Assembly Bill 1195, continuing education and cultural and linguistic competency.
