PRESIDENT S CORNER Hopefully you, and your family had a joyous Christmas, and will have a prosperous New Year. Thank you to all the members, and their spouses who helped decorate the club for the holiday s. The club looked very festive for the holiday season. The club will be open New Year s Day from Noon to 10:00 PM. The Three Person Bowling Challenge is Saturday, January 19 th. Remember: Dues are to be paid by February 28 th. Members: Please remember the use of the Alcove is limited to 40 people. Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Dimitri Lisquez and Ed Haberman who passed away last month. Support your club and our troops Ted Kowalewski Thumbs up! AUXILIARY NEWS HAPPY NEW YEAR! Just a few quick reminders as we move into a new year. First and MOST IMPORTANT Auxiliary meeting this month will be Wednesday, JANUARY 2 nd at 6:30 PM. Second there are TWO FISH FRY s this month (as well as in February, March and April) so PLEASE volunteer to bake a cake for these events. Our deserts are so appreciated by the customers and we ve got the best bakers in GR!!! Third Please attend as a player or volunteer to help at our Euchre Tournament on Saturday, January 19 th. FISH FRY SETS DECEMBER RECORD The December 14, 2018 Fish Fry set a new 1 day December record of 503 dinners served. Big kudos to all the volunteers that helped make this a big success. With the Winter season upon us and the snowbirds travel south to warmer climates, the Fish Fry needs new volunteers to take their places. Please consider volunteering to help out the lunch or dinner shift. You can pick the date and the shift (lunh or dinner) that s convenient for you. You ll make some new friends and help support this important Club fundraiser. There is a sign-up sheet on the bullentin board by the restroom on the Club side, or call one of this year s Co-Charimen: Mike Anderson 616-460-9169, Mike Sanchez 616-481-3965 or Joe Host 616-262-0573. The next Fish Fry is January 11, 2019. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.

This includes the club address and phone number just in case you need to make that important phone call. Please be aware of them. Your advertising card could be seen here by more than 900 Casino Club members, plus their families and friends. $60.00 for 6 months $100.00 per year Casino Club members only may advertise in this newsletter. Just complete the form located to the right, and submit to the bartender. It s that easy! A big THANK YOU to all who put donations in the Veterans Mailbox and those who donated purchased items from their wish list. In November we purchased a dozen fleece lined flannel shirt jackets, 432 AA and AAA batteries, alcohol free mouth wash and word search books.
