LHS PTSA Members! Volunteers Needed Saturday, April 14 th, 9-3 It's time for the annual LHS PTSA Spring Craft Show on Saturday April 14th from 9am - 3pm. This is always a great event with 80+ vendors and a great community turn out. This event raises money to fund the LHS Senior Scholarship Program which awards 10 students with a $500 scholarship! We need your help to make sure we have another fantastic year. We know that spring Saturdays can be busy so there are several time slots to choose from and you can volunteer anywhere from 2-8 hours of your time. We need help with vendor check-in, general directing of visitors, hospitality station, raffle basket assembly, raffle ticket sales, raffle winner distributions, and close up at the end of the show. There is something for everyone/anyone to do and the more volunteers we have the easier it is on everyone! Please contact Michelle Gallaway at shellybelly0217@yahoo.com for more information and to sign up. Please use "Spring Craft Show" in the subject line when emailing. Spanish Credit by Exam Students who are fluent in Spanish but have NOT taken a Spanish class or the CBE in December should sign up for the next test. Students should download their transcripts in Skyward under Portfolio/2018 transcript to check if they are unsure if they have Spanish credits already Spanish CBE Sign up Google Form: https://tinyurl.com/harmonspanishcbe Overdue Library Books Library books are checked out for two weeks at a time. If yours is overdue, you will receive notice(s) to your school email. Please return your late books as soon as possible so other students can read them. We do not charge fines for overdue books. There is a book drop in the hall just past the library windows in addition to the book return in the library. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Lilly or Mrs. Denman in the library.

Farmer Tip Line (469) 647-2814 See Something? Say Something. We have a Farmer Tip Line for students to anonymously report issues directly to campus administration. There are posters around the building and in classrooms with our Farmer Tip Line number. Use this tip line to anonymously report issues such as bullying, suicidal thoughts or self-harm, dating or family violence, weapons, drugs, threats, or other alarming behavior. Student safety is our number one priority, so remember: See Something. Say Something. Safety Reminders: In response to the tragedy in Florida, LISD is vamping up on security measures, both campus wide and district wide. Know that there will be very little tolerance for not following these safety measures: Every student MUST have an ID visible at all times. Immediately report anyone you see in the building who does not have an ID on or look like he/she belongs. Never prop open or let anyone into the building from a side door. All visitors must enter through the front and go into the office. If you see ANYTHING that you know is out of the ordinary, question it. Ask your teacher, send an email to Officer Alexander or Mr. Fontana, etc. It is everyone s responsibility to keep our campus safe! ipads As a reminder, students are required to bring their LISD ipad to school EVERY day--it s provided to you as an academic tool! Important: If ipad fees or forms are due, ipads will be taken up and returned once the forms/fees have been collected. ID S Students must wear their ID on a lanyard, visible and around your neck every day--it s part of the dress code. Temporary ID s are available in the Library.

Farmer Flex Please continue to monitor your grades weekly and develop a weekly progress plan. Use your Farmer Flex time wisely! Need to see your Counselor or Assistant Principal? You can make an appointment with him or her by scanning the QR code on the posters in the halls and completing a Google form. Ms. Flanders/Ms. Somers (A-F); Mr. Owens/Ms. Smith (G-N) or Mr. Bauter/Ms. Jones (O-Z) will call you down to meet with you. LHS March June calendar is attached. Counselor Newsletter Attached is the latest issue. Follow us on Twitter: @LHSHarmon and @LHSFarmer Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lhsharmon/
