HMltb. stat.ys.of the donor animal a) In the six months preceding the collection of semen the donor animal was not vaccinated against rabies using a live vaccine. b) At the time of collection of semen the donor animal was subjected to a veterinary examination and showed no clinical signs of infectious or contagious disease. c) After 15 days elapsed following the last collection the donor animal was subjected to veterinary examination and showed no clinical signs of infectious or contagious disease. Note: No rabies vaccination or rabies titre blood test is required for UI, Mew Zealand or Australia immirementsjorentrii^^ ioclerritorieslli^^ a) The donor dog has been continuously resident in the exporting country for at least 12 nnonths authorities ofthe exporting country. a) Donor dog must be identified by either microchip or a cieariy readable tattoo and vaccinated against rabies. b) The date of the primary rabies vaccination must not precede the date of identification. HealttstatHsMttedoM^ a) Donor dog must be identified by either microchip or a clearly readable tattoo and be vaccinated against rabies. b) The date of the primary rabies vaccination must not precede the date of identification. c) At least 30 days after primary rabies vaccination the donor dog must be blood tested to confirm a neutralising antibody titration at least equal to 0.5 iu/ml. The test must be carried out in a laboratory approved for this purpose, femmmay only be collected when at least three months has expired since a successful blood-test. If the dog has had a break in its vaccinations and has had to repeat the bloodiest, three months must pass from the date ofthe most recent test before semen may be collected. d) The donor dog must have been subjected to veterinary examination immediately before the collection of the semen and showed no clinical signs of any infectious or contagious diseases including rabies. e) The donor dog showed no clinical signs of any infectious or contagious diseases, including rabies, during the 15 days after the collection of the semen. Note: The Donor dog must have had a rabies accination and rabies titre blood test. B. ENTRY OF CANINE SEMEN INTO IRELAND - OTHER REQUIREMENTS All equipment used for coilection, dilution and packaging of the semen for export to the Republic of Ireland must be cleansed and disinfected before use and not used in the 12 hours prior to the collection. Frozen semen for export to Ireland must be frozen in iiquid nitrogen containers or other freezing equipment which has been cleansed and disinfected prior to the processing of the semen for export. The semen diluent must have been prepared under hygienic conditions and any products of animal origin used in the diluent obtained from sources which presented no animal health risk or was so treated prior to use that such risk was prevented. Eggs must have been obtained from a flock of birds in the exporting country which are certified free of clinical and serological evidence of Avian Influenza and Newcastle Disease by a duly authorised Government veterinary officer. Fresh or skimmed milk from the exporting country subjected to minimum temperature of 88c {190fj for a minimum period of two minutes.
