Explore Learning Objective: develop a range of balances Key Curricular Target: develop flexibility, strength, technique, control and balance [for example, through athletics and gymnastics]

Use Explain Everything (and Mirror mat) to demonstrate a range of balances. Record images and video using the camera app - import into Explain Everything. Students to record examples of the balances they create.

ireflect Success Criteria Difficulty Core Skills Physical Digital Easy Develop Individual balance Input video/images Use of titles Challenge Partner balance (3/4 floor contact points) As above, plus: Voice over presenting Use of pointers to demonstrate form. Hard Extend Partner balance (1/2 floor contact points) As above plus: Compare two examples of a balance. Provide links to online resources.

Explore Learning Objective: is to understand how physical activity affects pulse rate. Key Curricular Target: compare their performances with previous ones and demonstrate improvement to achieve their personal best.

Use Comic Life3 to record an experiment on pulse rate. Include pictures and explanations for the method. You can also use Numbers to record your results, produce graphs, and then screen shot each piece to include in your comic.

ireflect Success Criteria Core Skills Difficulty Physical Digital Easy Develop Complete 30 seconds of an activity then record your pulse rate. Repeat this for 3 activities. Include images, text and a variety of fonts/icons. Challenge Complete 45 seconds of an activity then record your pulse rate. Repeat this for 3 activities. Use Numbers to record your results in a table. Screenshot to place them as images in your comic. Hard Extend Complete 1 minute of an activity then record your pulse rate. Repeat this for 3 activities. Use Numbers to record your results and create graphs. Screenshot to place them as images in your comic.

Establish Netball How are netball skills currently coached? How do students record their work? How do students receive feedback on their progress? How do students self evaluate and improve?

Explore Learning Objective: to develop shooting skills. Key Curricular Targets: use running, jumping, throwing and catching in isolation and in combination. play competitive games, modified where appropriate [for example, badminton, basketball, cricket, football, hockey, netball, rounders and tennis], and apply basic principles suitable for attacking and defending

Use Shadow Puppet to explain the steps for a successful netball shot. Use the ireflect Table to attempt the activity and then record your movements for your Shadow Puppet.

ireflect Core Skills Physical Digital Develop Execute shot using good form (see note), from a distance of 1m Use camera to take photos/video and add to Shadow Puppet. Challenge Execute shot using good form, from a distance of 2m Record voiceover explaining how to perform each element of the shot. Aspire Execute shot using good form, from a distance of 3m Add text and use the Pointers to provide more accurate descriptions.

iteam Top Tips This activity works well with teams of 3. Encourage children to take images/videos first before placing into an app. Draw them back to the ireflect Table - what else can I achieve? Can I move on? Explore the app prior to any lesson - Friday afternoons work well!

Extend 1. Upload resources to SeeSaw. 2. Map out key outcomes for the activity - what curriculum objectives have been achieved? 3. Action plan - focus on a skill of your choice, relevant to your school and setting. Use the ireflect table to map success criteria. 4. How else could you use the technology for learning opportunities?

Establish Circuit Training How do students currently learn about circuit training? How can we encourage greater understanding of this common activity? Why is it important for students to know this? How do we link this to other subject areas?

Explore Learning Objective: to create a circuit training programme. Key Curricular Target: use running, jumping, throwing and catching in isolation and in combination develop flexibility, strength, technique, control and balance [for example, through athletics and gymnastics]

Use Pages (and Maze Maker) to create a workout guide for a circuit training programme you design. You can use images within the guid and also include links to other resources online.

Maze Maker Circuits Exercise 1 - Strength This picture shows Ben performing a press-up. 1.You go down into a down press position and hold it for 5 or 10 seconds. Exercise 2 - Speed This is Mack running over the bricks as fast as he could. 1) You do this by making a ladder so there is round about half a foot in between them. 2) Then run and try not to touch what ever you are jumping over Now try to beat you're opponent by being faster.

iteam Top Tips This activity works well with teams of 4 or 5 - all children should complete and demo an aspect of the circuit. Encourage children to take images/videos first before placing into an app. Planning is key so that students can focus on the doing.

3. How else could you use the technology for learning opportunities?
