We went to Siegal s 1941 Restaurant inside the El Cortez Hotel/Casino. Afterwards, we headed down to the LGBT Center for our Monthly Planning Committee and Board Meetings. On October 10, 2018, we did our monthly Luncheon at the brand new Hamburger Mary s Restaurant & Bar. The Bagel Café was the setting for our Monthly Dine-Out on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Saturday, October 20, we held our Monthly General Meeting and Potluck in the Rainbow Room of the Metropolitan Community Church. At this meeting, we also closed the Slate of Nominations for our new Board of Directors for 2019, to be elected next month. October 23, we held our Bar Night Out at Bastille on 3rd. Our Monthly Breakfast was once again held at Joker s Wild on October 27, 2018. October had 5 Wednesdays again so, we had a 5th Wednesday Dine-Out at Macaroni Grill which was another new place for us. I want to wish all my fellow Prime Timers a Happy Thanksgiving and also would like to say Thank You to all our Veterans on November 11, Veterans Day.

VEGAS BIZ President s Column Page 2 As Thanksgiving approaches and the year is ending, I would like to take a moment to highlight and publicly thank the Board of Directors, of our organization. We have a hardworking and dedicated board that volunteer their time and help keep our organization running. Our Vice President, Art Deerheim, is always helpful to me, by giving me advice or answering questions that I may have. He is also our Newsletter Editor and every month creates a fantastic newsletter with current information and a variety of photographs of our group functions. Our Secretary, Membership Chairman, and co-treasurer, Jim Antosh, records thorough minutes of all our meetings and publishes them monthly. He also provides us with a monthly update of our finances and updates our membership and their contact information. Our Webmaster, Gary McGough, adds email addresses to our general mailings so that members can receive pertinent information. He also helped contact men to be nominated for our upcoming election. Our Hospitality Chairman, Walter Milicich, does a wonderful job of handling and promoting our monthly 50/50 raffle at our various functions. He also greets our members as he walks around the events. Our two Members at Large have also been helpful. Dan Banul hosts monthly bar nights and occasionally helps with taking minutes. Bob Williams plans for us our popular monthly breakfast. He also helped with planning at The Stratosphere for our Gathering. Our Event s Chairman, Randy Bellerose, schedules dinners and lunches and sends out emails on these events and keeps you posted on who is planning to attend. As your President, I felt it was important that all our members know how dedicated these men are who have volunteered to serve our organization. I also want to remind everyone to attend our important General Meeting on November 17, 2018. This will be when the membership elects our new officers to serve in 2019. Remember: ALL positions are up for election this year. Ray Plummer, President
