Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Tier 4 Consultation NHS England is currently conducting a National Review of Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Tier 4 (Inpatient care). NHS England has asked Young Minds to produce a survey for young people, parents and carers so that as many voices are heard, whether or not you have used that particular service. The first part of this work is an online survey for people who have been diagnosed with dementia in the past two years and people who provide unpaid care for them. The closing date for responses is 31 January 2017. Have your say on improving employment prospects for disabled people and people with long-term health conditions NHS England, along with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department of Health (DH), are making available 70 million over four years to test different ways to support people with a disability or long-term condition to get in and stay in work.the government is seeking views on what it will take to
transform employment prospects for disabled people and people with long-term health conditions by listening to patients to understand their needs in order to bring about a positive culture change around work, health and disability. The consultation will close on 17 February 2017. Consultation on specialist mental health services for young people NHS England has launched a National Review of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHs). As well as a series of webinars and events as part of the consultation, NHS England has launched an online survey to get the views of patients, carers and the public on the issue. The closing date for responses is 28 February 2017.
Carer of the Year Awards 2017 Are you or is someone you know an unsung hero? Entries are now open for the Nottingham Post Carer of the Year Awards Closing date for entries is Thursday 9 February 2017. The Nottingham Post are searching for those unsung heroes who do amazing work in our communities for the Nottingham Post Carer of the Year Awards 2017. They are looking for carers who go above and beyond to help others every single day, whether as part of their profession, as a volunteer, or as a family member looking after a loved one. There are 11 categories in total and Nottinghamshire Healthcare are sponsoring the Volunteer Worker award. The judges will also choose one overall winner from all the nominations to receive the coveted title Carer of the Year 2017. More information, and details of how to enter can be found on the Nottingham Post website. The closing date is Thursday, February 9, 2017. Three finialists in each category will be invited to a glittering daytime awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Wollaton Street, taking place on Thursday, March 16 2017. Nottinghamshire s Rainbow Heritage Annual Celebration and Awards Evening. Tuesday 28 February 7-9pm. The Council House Ballroom, Nottingham Free entry - no tickets needed. Note that the Ballroom holds 150 people, so late arrivals may be refused admittance.
