The only good point for the members was that most that turned up left with a raffle prize. The breeding season seems to be the same story for most members, clear eggs, dead in shell, and adult birds not feeding their young. However, Dick was having a good year so far and was even thinking to putting a stop to the rest of the breeding season as he had already bred over sixty Fife Canaries. Well done Dick keep up the good work, so anyone looking for good quality Fife s next year speak to Dick I m sure he ll look after you. Anyone wishing to buy or sell birds or equipment can do so in the newsletter or on our website free of charge to members. All you have to do is contact me with what you want or what you re selling, my contact details are at the front of this newsletter. Remember the safest place to buy and sell birds and equipment is from people you know, Club members. You get to see the birds first, see what they have been breed from, what their diet is and how they have been kept. Of course we cannot do without trusted Pet Shops and dealers, but with our newsletter and website we have a forum to share information, so if you have a good or bad experience with a Pet Shop, dealer or breeder, you can let the rest of the members know about it.
