EVENT INFORMATION BOUT THE EVENT AIn only 2 years, the Hollywood Dance Marathon has become one of LA s hottest fundraising events, garnering press & media coverage and celebrity participation, while engaging young-adult supporters in a fun, philanthropic cause. This high-energy, 6-hour dance party at the historic Avalon Theater in Hollywood raises money and awareness to fight pediatric cancer. Hundreds of participants sign up to dance and raise funds from 2013 EVENT STATISTICS January 27th, 2013 The Avalon Theater Number of Performers: 10 Number of Volunteers: 50 Number of Dancers: 170 Number of Attendees: 650 Total Donated: $67,851.10 family and friends. In true Hollywood style, the event includes celebrities & VIP s on the Red Carpet, non-stop entertainment, and a silent auction of one-of-a-kind items. Since founded, Lights Camera Cure has donated over $100,000 to fight pediatric cancer. This year, the event benefits Children s Hospital Los Angeles and the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children s Hospital. Both are part of Children s Miracle Network Hospitals.
