2 Shake, Rattle & Roll Gala Our 4th annual Shake, Rattle & Roll Gala for Parkinson's will take place on Saturday, May 12 at the Holiday Inn Conference Centre. Hosted again by the incredibly funny Mark Critch, this is sure to be another eventful and hilarious evening. Offering a delicious meal, live music performances, spectacular live and silent auctions, rock and roll themed décor and much more, the event is set to be a memorable evening you won t forget anytime soon. The goal of our Shake, Rattle & Roll Gala is to help raise awareness and critical funding to support our ongoing programs and service for people living with Parkinson s disease in Newfoundland and Labrador. With the goal of becoming one of our most successful fundraisers, the Shake, Rattle & Roll Gala s success is only made possible through the engagement and support of valued business and community-partners like yours. This event allows businesses and other community supporters the opportunity to celebrate the work that the Parkinson Society Newfoundland & Labrador does to make a considerable difference for those living with Parkinson s in our province. The Shake, Rattle & Roll Gala will be managed and led by a group of dedicated volunteers, with support from the Parkinson Society Newfoundland & Labrador office and Board of Directors. 3 Our Cause Parkinson Society Newfoundland & Labrador is the provincial voice of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians living with Parkinson s. Our Mission is to ease the burden and find a cure through research, education, advocacy and support services which we offer directly to our members. The care, comfort and programs provided by Parkinson Society Newfoundland & Labrador in the province are vital to those living with Parkinson s disease and as well as to the family and friends of those who have Parkinson s. All funds raised through the Shake, Rattle & Roll Gala will stay in our province to support our programs and services.
