Event Facts what/where/when The American Cancer Society s Taste of Hope Chicago will take place on November 6, 2014, at Revel Downtown, just west of the Loop. This business-attire, untraditional gala will feature two events in one: a tasting reception with exclusive whiskeys, specialty cocktails, and delectable hors d oeuvres, followed by a celebrity-chef-prepared dinner for event sponsors. Auction Donor Benefits Contributing an auction item to Taste of Hope Chicago is a unique opportunity for a corporation or individual to make a commitment to the health and well being of our community. recognition benefits All auction donations will be recognized in the night-of-event program book (if received by 10.1.14). All auction donations valued at $1,000 or more will be included on the Taste of Hope website (if received by 10.1.14). Silent Auction donations will be recognized on table-top signage and on our mobile bidding platform at the event that will include a description of the item and the donor s name. Live Auction donations will be featured on signage and projection screens during the event and described by the auctioneer during the Live Auction segment of the program. additional information Final designation and placement into auction categories (Live or Silent) will be determined by American Cancer Society staff.
