Annexure II Terms and conditions of the work Name of the work: Repair of Equipments at AIISH Naimisham campus, Mysore. 1. The agency can inspect the Equipments during working days of the Institute From 16.05.2016 to 27.05.2016 (10.30am to 4.00pm.) 2. The agency has to make their own arrangements for repair in AIISH with necessary tools and equipments, place will be provided to repair the equipments. 3. The agency has to show the stage wise repair work to the end user. 4. The agency has to put work sheet to the each equipment while repairing and the same has to submit with the end user acceptance signature with the Bill / Invoice. 3. A Security deposit of 10 % of value of the work will be deducted & will be refunded after a satisfactory observation period of 4 months. 4. The agency is required to undertake the work awarded to them without causing any damages to equipments. 5. While executing the work, any damage is caused to the existing equipments and its spears etc., the agency is responsible for indemnifying the loss and the loss assessed will be recovered from the bills payable to them. 6. The agency has to quote the rates in the prescribed format attached with the Tender. 7. The rate quoted for the work should be clearly written in figures and words including the grand total. The rate is required to be quoted including of all spares, accessories with applicable statutory taxes such as services charges, VAT etc. after proper inspection. 8. No escalation of cost will be entertained during the currency of the contract including the period of extension if any is granted. 9. The work must be completed within the stipulated date prescribed in the work order and in the event of it is unlikely that the work could not be completed due to the factors beyond the control of the contractor, the contractor is required to make an application for extension of the contract in writing.
10. Time is the essence of the Contract. In case the work is not completed within the prescribed time indicated in the work order, the Director reserves the right to impose the penalty of Rs 100/per day of delay or part thereof beyond the last date for completion of the work including the period of extension if any subject to a maximum of 10% of the value of work. 11. The agency should comply with all labour laws & Govt Regulation applicable at site of work and should indemnify the Institute in respect of all claims arising out of noncompliance thereof by the agency. The relevant general conditions of contract procedures are applicable pertaining to work. 12. The agency must carefully study all the pages and sign in each page. 13. The Tender shall remain valid and open for acceptance for a period of 90 days from the date of notification. 14. Any breach of the terms and conditions will result in enforcement of one or more or all of the following: a. Cancellation of the work order in part or whole. b. Imposition of penalty as decided by the Director, AIISH, Mysore. c. Recovery of extra cost, if any incurred by the institute in the work by adjustment from money due. 15. The Director, AIISH, Mysore shall have the right of rejecting all or any of the Tenders without assigning any reasons not bound to accept the lowest Tender which violate any of the conditions contained in the terms and conditions. 16. The contractor has to remove all his repairing material and debris immediately after the completion of the work failing which 1% of demurrage charges on contract amount will be levied for each day of delay or part thereof in removing the material and will be deducted from security deposit. 17. Last date for uploading tender in Karnataka e procurement portal is on or before 3.06.2016 up to 16.00 Hours and the bids will be opened on 06.06.2016 at 16.00 Hours. 18. The agency has to submit the bill within fifteen days after completion of the work in all respects. 19. Payment of the bill will be made after effecting recovery of TDS like ST/IT, SD, labour cess, water charges etc. Contractor Director
