Welcome to Ballarat Pony club for the year 2015-2016 Thank you for joining Ballarat Pony Club! We hope your family enjoys being part of the club and benefits from the many skills gained through participation in the club. The following is a list to help ensure you complete your membership forms correctly. We understand it is a fair amount of paperwork, but this is the one step that ensures your child is fully covered by their 24/7 PCAV insurance, that we can care for them to the highest standard in the event of an accident on our grounds, and that everyone fully understands their commitment to joining the club. So please be diligent in ensuring we have the correct information especially contact and medical information. It is implicit in applying for membership that each family has read and understood the PCAV Code of Conduct form (attached). Please ask at the office if you have any queries. The Volunteer Choices Form is a new idea I hope you will understand the need for it as we plan for the year ahead. Please talk to one of the Committee members if you have any questions or suggestions! Each riding member must have completed: A Club Membership Form for Junior and Associate Riders A Medical History and Emergency Contacts Form At least one parent/guardian must have filled out The Supporter Form The Volunteer Choices Form

Working with Children Check It is PCAV Policy for all non-riding adults who regularly attend Pony Club to have a WWC. Ballarat Pony Club requests that you give us a photocopy of your WWC when you have received it. Please ask if you have any questions about this requirement. As this is a very new policy we are working towards it, and would appreciate your assistance. You need to go to www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au. Then make an appointment with the Post Office to complete the document. It is simple and free as you are volunteers for BPC. Please tick the appropriate box Name of Supporter I have a WWC I have applied for a WWC I have not yet applied for a WWC Permission for Photographs Our members and their families love taking photos of the action around the Club.
