Our Roadmap to Recovery Utilize a proven system that combines clinical services in an office setting with a separate, gender-separate, supervised living community Patients experience the least restrictive level of care and learn to cope with real life situations while working with experienced clinicians

Treatment Modalities A more eclectic approach to treatment including family systems, attachment theory, experiential therapy, focused expressive psychotherapy and neurofeedback therapy Patients are clinically assessed and gradually challenged to work outside their comfort zones with clinical expertise and peer support Structured to foster healthy peer interaction and challenge addictive behaviors and thinking Non-enabling approach assumes that an experienced team will help identify self-destructive behaviors in an atmosphere of support and concern

Treatment Team Each patient works with a multi-disciplinary team of clinical professionals dedicated to excellent care, including: Psychiatry Social Work Nursing Counseling Psychology Spiritual Guidance Vocational Counselors College Consultants Nutritionist Neurofeedback professionals Family therapists Case specialists (clinical admissions staff)

Specialized Programming Recognizing a range of addictive behaviors, offers programs for those experiencing issues related to: Body Image Compulsive Gambling Sexual Concerns Trauma Parenting Anger Resolution Smoking Cessation Grief and Loss Gender Eating Disorders Adoption

Integrative Neurofeedback Therapy A Cutting Edge Therapy Addiction Treatment Therapeutic intervention that involves mapping brainwave patterns and reinforcing healthy brain function to help patients: - Manage moods and emotions - Process anxiety - Reduce levels of general distress and discomfort - Increase attention and the ability to focus - Adopt new, healthy behaviors and deal with the triggers that may increase relapse risk Uses advanced statistical and mathematical analysis (Quantitative EEG) and low resolution electromagnetic tomography (LORETA) to determine if a patient s brainwave patterns reflect healthy or abnormal brain function After several sessions, patients learn to regulate brain function and better manage mental and emotional state Helps those with depression, anxiety, trauma and attention deficit disorders remain in treatment

The Patient is the Family and the Family is the Patient. At, caring for the entire family is paramount. The family is engaged from the initial inquiry through the patient s treatment stay and beyond: Family psychological history and family assessment Family systems therapy, including a three-day family workshop Residential Family Restructuring Workshop Support system through Alumni Family Buddy Program Ongoing support groups and events for family members

Family Workshop This three-day workshop is process-oriented rather than content-oriented, utilizing group family therapy and conjoint patient-family therapy Families learn new and more effective recovery and relational skills Helps to break the cycle of enabling by distinguishing their needs from the patient s needs Clinical staff leads participants through uncovering and discussing potentially painful topics that were not addressed or minimized during active addiction

Residential Family Restructuring Full immersion treatment with loved ones to address barriers to recovery for both the patient and family Families reside onsite with the patient for two weeks and engage in clinical programming Schedule includes daily group therapy sessions where personal and family issues are addressed, such as: - Generational themes - Grief and loss - Trauma - Communication problems - Boundary issues

Residential Family Restructuring The Results By the end of the workshop, family members: - Increase expectations for themselves and their loved one, the patient - Establish healthy boundaries - Implement reasonable and natural consequences - Detach from problem-solving for loved ones - Engage in healthy communication and non-avoidant conflict resolution - Focus on self-care and emotional regulation by developing supports and resources - Communicate and care for themselves and their family
