Summary The Directors of Marie Dressler Foundation have personally invested significantly in this project The Marie Dressler Foundation has also contributed from its cash resources We are awaiting results of Grant Requests from Provincial and Municipal sources We continue our fundraising efforts in the private sector Based on the successes to date, we expect to commence the construction of the Exhibit in early Spring 2016 Marie Dressler Exhibition presentation to Cobourg Town Council December 7, 2015 12

Presentation to Town Council We were very fortunate this year to be the beneficiaries of a unique fundraising opportunity for the Vintage Film Festival Peter Doig, a world acclaimed artist, generously designed a unique movie poster based on the film The Picture of Dorian Gray which he made available exclusively to the Foundation s Vintage Film Festival for their annual fund raising efforts We wish to publicly thank not only Peter Doig, but his parents, Mary and David Doig of Cobourg, who were instrumental in connecting us with Peter and his generous gift We would like to present the Cobourg Town Council with a framed copy of this unique poster. We hope it will find a prominent display location in Victoria Hall so that all citizens may enjoy this unique work of art.
