Page 2 of 8 On March 30th, ten awesome Ewing s Sarcoma warriors and survivors, along with a friend, joined us for the Mavs game against the Chicago Bulls! As we arrived at the game a surprise was waiting; Jeff Skin Wade, Fox Sports Network TV announcer for the Mavs, was waiting to have his head shaved! Thank you Skin for your commitment to raising awareness for Ewing s Sarcoma! Each of the kids took a turn with the razor. We were part of the pre-game show on FOX! We toured the Mavs locker room and cheered the players on as they headed to the locker room at half time. We obviously brought some inspiration and good luck to the AAC, as the Mavs won the game in the last few seconds, after being down by 12 with four minutes to go! Great game!! We loved the day with our very, very precious friends! A huge thank you to the generous donors who made the day extra special! We all enjoyed a limo ride to/from the game, dinner and a suite, courtside seats and the opportunity to greet players and see the locker room! Please join us in praying for all of these amazing teenagers and young adults and their families! Inspiring Words From a Ewing's Sarcoma Survivor We love hearing how Anna continues to touch lives and inspire other Ewing's Sarcoma patients. Lauren Brown is someone we have gotten to know over the last two years

Each year the 12th of December will remind us of the verse that helped our family stay focused during Anna s journey. 12/12/12 was extra special our first social media campaign suggesting donations of $12.12. Extremely touching results nearly $22,000 donated from 33 states and 3 Canadian provinces. We will continue to raise Ewing s Sarcoma awareness until we reach the rest of the world! Hope you re always with us on 12/12. Today This year we ve added two new Anna s Closets locations in Texas. We now provide teen gifts to Texas Children s in Houston and Dell Children s Blood & Cancer Center in Austin. We are very excited about sharing Anna s spirit with the sweet patients at all eight of our locations. In addition to growing Anna s Closets, we started the Shuffle Project, thanks to a friend and her book club. The shuffles we provide will be shared in the clinics and on hem-onc floors for sweet patients' birthdays, end of chemo gifts, holiday gifts, and when a special person just needs a little extra love.
Page 5 of 8 Another effort of "today" is to reach out to patients and families with a child or teen fighting Ewing s Sarcoma. Whether they need a gift package to lift their spirits, a prayer jar, or monetary assistance 1 Million 4 Anna is ready to help. Tomorrow We keep in touch with our five scholarship recipients from 2012 and plan to continue to support each of them this year, as well as several new applicants. We are in the process of receiving new applications and look forward to celebrating with the entire group on May 16th at our Float On Dinner. Until It's Gone An essential piece of our mission in order to "win the fight against Ewing s Sarcoma" is to fund promising Ewing s Sarcoma research. Please stay tuned an announcement is coming very soon!! Thank You We wouldn t be able to accomplish our mission without the help of our wonderful supporters, so we would like to thank all those who have done some special things over the last few months to help us. The Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at the University of Texas honored Anna and our foundation at their Dodgeball
Tournament. Payton Schramm, a friend of Anna's and the Philanthropy Chairman, organized the event. Many of Anna's friends at UT participated and shared Anna's story at the very fun event!! We are very grateful for the awesome donation from the Sig Eps! Thank you all!! Meghan Bowen, a family friend, earned her Girl Scout Gold Award through 1 Million 4 Anna. Meghan's Gold Award involved three major endeavors. First, Meghan proposed and developed the 1 Million 4 Anna Club at Ursuline Academy, and now serves as President. Meghan also organized a blanket project at a Girl Scout lock-in and instructed younger scouts in making 25 blankets which were donated to Children's Medical Center for hem-onc patients. Finally, Meghan took full responsibility for 1 Million 4 Anna's participation in Children's Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders Holiday Party. Meghan raised the money needed to rent a Photo Booth, collected donations for dress-up, and organized the volunteers for the party. The kids LOVED it!! Meghan did an outstanding job in every facet, and we are honored and very grateful for her on-going support! The 5th & 6th grade Theology Classes at Prince of Peace Catholic School, taught by Ann Gohsman, help us lift the spirits of Ewing's Sarcoma warriors with prayer jars. The thoughtful young students take time picking out a special scripture verse and then add their own personal message for the prayer jar notes. Prince of Peace Catholic School and Prince of Peace Youth group collected DVD s. Together, they were able to get quite a collection of over 200 DVDs! We will share them with hematology-oncology clinic infusion rooms in local children's hospitals. Page 6 of 8
Thank you very much Prince of Peace! Jesuit High School recently designated one of their basketball games as Purple Out night in honor of 1 Million 4 Anna. Students were encouraged to wear purple. Baked goods and 1 Million 4 Anna t-shirts were sold to raise money for the foundation. We greatly appreciate the support! The 1 Million 4 Anna Club at Ursuline Academy, run by Meghan Bowen and Molly Hall, has helped make birthday banners for Oncology patients at Children's Hospital, volunteered for various 1 Million 4 Anna events, hosted a blood drive and recently made prayer cards for newly diagnosed Ewing s warriors. Thank you for all you do! Musician Matt Tedder organized a benefit honoring Eric Willoughby, a Ewing's Sarcoma warrior. Eric and his family donated the evening's proceeds to 1 Million 4 Anna. What an honor! We are blessed to know the Willoughby family and are joined together in the fight against Ewing's Sarcoma! Alexa Gross, member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority at the University of Arkansas, collected awesome items for Anna's Closet, including Razorback souvenirs. We delivered them to Children's Medical Center in Dallas. Alexa is also responsible for a large donation of earbuds for Anna's Closet - all making some very special teenage cancer warriors very happy! Thank you Alexa and Alpha Omicron Pi! Brendan Nelligan, a very impressive 7th grader recently turned 13 and instead of having gifts for his birthday, he asked for donations to Anna s Closet! Thank you Brendan! Systemware, John Paul II High School and Evolv Health all collected gifts for Anna s closet over the Page 7 of 8
