Lesson Plans Monday Topic: Team Sports Activity Content: Game play I will review the rules and technique prior to engaging in games. Topic: Flag Football Content: We will warm up with the agility ladder and push-ups. I will review basic throwing and catching skills in football, as well as game play strategy. Weight Training Topic: Pulling exercises (Posterior chain) We will review some of the posterior chain exercises that we covered on Friday and engage in an open lift. Content: Tuesday Adapted Gym Topic: Outdoor activities Content: We will play noodle tag and Frisbee outside Students will warm up with line sprints on the football field (race). Next, the

kids will engage in a game of noodle tag and then some Frisbee activities. Topic: Flag Football/mile run preparation Content: Building on yesterday, we will continue with flag football I will review the rules and safety considerations prior to game play. Topic: Posterior Chain exercises Content: Students will work on posterior chain exercises (eccentric glute ham raise), back extensions, and inclined abdominal crunch). Health: Topic: Components of Fitness Content: We will continue to discuss the components of health related fitness (Body composition, Cardio-respiratory endurance, Muscular endurance, Muscular strength, Flexibility). Students will calculate their resting HR and determine Aerobic Target HR. Topic: Capture the Flag Wednesday
