Conference Focus A Practical Guide to Dizziness and Disequilibrium will update practicing physicians, APPs, vestibular therapists, and audiologists on the assessment and evaluation of patients with vestibular complaints. The conference content is designed to facilitate providers in acquiring a focused and efficient patient history to allow for directed referrals, cost-effective tests, and recommended therapies. This conference will discuss common vestibular disorders including newly established diagnostic conditions and updated diagnostic criteria. Educational Objectives: Understand key elements in the history that distinguish peripheral, central, and other vestibular conditions. Understand clinical exam findings that distinguish peripheral from central disorders and aid in diagnosis of specific conditions. Recognize newly defined and revised diagnostic criteria for common vestibular conditions of otologic, neurologic, medical, and psychological origin. Recognize the unique features and comorbidities associated with vestibular conditions in the geriatric population.
