TAMI GOSSELIN
TAMI GOSSELIN Tami Gosselin had been in the real estate business for years, working in new home construction, but it wasn t until she became pregnant with her first child, that she considered switching gears to become a REALTOR. The inflexible hours and commute just weren t going to work for me any more. My husband suggested that I get my real estate license and the idea of that just clicked with me. While on maternity leave, I decided to take the class. I got my license in 2002 and I ve loved it ever since. Gosselin started her career with Century 21 M & M and Associates, and has been with them ever since. A friend of mine, who got her license at the same time, suggested I check them out. After interviewing with a couple of other agencies, I was just drawn to the family-like environment here. I couldn t be happier with my choice. From the beginning, it has been Gosselin s determination that has been key to her success. When I first started I was in my manager s office every morning asking him what I
could do to become a top-producing agent. I didn t want to be just another statistic, in and out of real estate in 18 months. But what really changed things for me was discovering the Mike Ferry System. Every week at our office meetings, they would play a motivational video produced by him. Just 45 days after I started, I signed up for a weekly coaching call and I ve
been doing that ever since. They really taught me how to be successful by setting goals and then working hard to achieve those goals. My first goal was to double my income, by the end of the year I had quadrupled it. But I would never have reached my financial goals, if I didn t first reach my goals of exceeding the expect - ations of my clients and making their real estate dreams come true. Gosselin has been a Centurion Award Winner for 11 years, and was a Grand Centurion award winner in 2013. She has ranked in the top 1000 agents for RealTrends and was in the top 250 for production in 2013 in the US. In addition to her busy career, Gosselin is also an active member of her community, sponsoring several local sports teams. She is
also a supporter of Greenpeace and volunteers annually for Coats for Kids, an organization that helps children in need. Although Gosselin still plans on continuing to grow her team and her business, her latest passion has been pursuing her dream of becoming a real estate coach herself. Most people starting out in this industry have no direction. Thats how I was in the beginning and I don t want to see people go through that when they don t have to. The coaching I received truly changed my life, by allowing me to succeed in a career I truly love. The commissions and awards are great, but the ability to help people, whether it s a client or a REALTOR just starting out, has really been the greatest reward.
