Donna has been studying traditional knitting for 30 years. "Folk" knitting is her passion, and she loves passing her skills and knowledge on to others. A designer and instructor for many years, Donna currently produces designs for Harrisville Designs and other publications. In order to promote folk knitting, she started her own company, Tree of Life Designs. She is also an accomplished spinner. Find her on Facebook at Donna Kay Tree of Life Designs. Workshop: Mosaic Knitting : spaces are filled!. ARRIVAL TIMES PLEASE time your arrival at ECNG general meetings for after 9:15 unless you have volunteered to help set up for the meeting. PLEASE try to carpool. There will be a membership list by town at the November meeting to help you find ECNG members who live in your town. If for some reason, you need to arrive between 8:15 and 8:45, do not stop or drop off anything near the circle. PLEASE, always, be watchful of the preschoolers and their parents. ECNG 1

New England Quilt Museum The ECNG board voted at the October board meeting to join the New England Quilt Museum subject to the approval of the general membership. Members will be asked to vote on whether to join the Museum at the November meeting. By joining the Museum, we will support the ongoing programs and exhibits of the Museum as well as receive the following benefits: Four Guest Passes, each admitting 2 people $5 discount on NEQM Individual Membership to guild members Listing on the NEQM website with a link to the guild website Invitations to annual meetings at the Museum A Guild Directory and Teacher Directory for use in planning programs with other guilds Guild labels for communication with other guilds Eligibility in the Museum s Ad Swap Program Bonnie Floyd, President Elizabeth Black, Vice president It will be on display at the November meeting. November meeting: Members whose last name begin with L through Q- please bring refreshments ECNG Holiday Luncheon: The signup sheet for the luncheon will be out in November. Because we have limited oven space, we will limit the signup for hot dishes to 8 oven dishes and 8 crock pot dishes. Please make note of what you sign up to bring at the November meeting (for your own reference.) Label dish for your retrieval. Label if contains nuts. Label if gluten free. Label what kitchen prep is needed before serving. Bring just enough for about 6 people Serving utensils are not needed. There are plenty available in the kitchen. Please pick up your container and any leftovers at the end of the luncheon. You may contact Gail Ensdorf for any needed information or in the event you are unable to attend. Any help would be appreciated. As always, please bring a mug to meetings to help our efforts to be green. Members are invited to sell their artistic handiwork at our December meeting Craft Fair. Vendors may choose one of the following options: - $10 fee and provide your own table at a maximum of 6 feet (These spaces are going fast) Members may share a table. DEADLINE for registration is November 18th Register soon; we only have space for 15 tables! Our guild is full of talent, and we look forward to providing an opportunity to share your work. ECNG 3

HAWC Healing Abuse Working for Change We will be collecting hats, mittens and scarves at our December meeting- hopefully homemade. Members are encouraged to donate an item for the monthly raffle.
