You will learn carotid and vertebral duplex, transcranial Doppler and duplex imaging, emboli detection, right-to-left shunt testing with contrast, vasomotor reactivity assessment, monitoring vasospasm and detection of cerebral circulatory arrest. An additional emphasis is placed on evaluation and treatment of acute stroke and TIA patients.
