We are playing a BSL version of Deal or No Deal at Bridport Deaf Club on 5 th May at 4.00pm Top Prize 50! Or will you walk away with just 1p? There will be 22 boxes so we need 22 volunteers to play the game. Names will be drawn out of a hat on the day. Adults and children are welcome to play. Not sure how it works? The theme aims to improve understanding of the different types of deafness by highlighting the many different methods of communication used by deaf, deafened, deaf-blind and hard of hearing people, such as sign language and lip-reading. Do you know how to contact the emergency services by SMS text? Deaf and hard of hearing people MUST register their mobile number before using this service. Not sure what to do? Look at the website info in BSL and English. www.emergencysms.org.uk We have asked the police to come to Bridport Deaf Club to explain the service and help people register their mobile phone more details soon. Everyone is welcome at Bridport Deaf Club. Membership for 12 months is 10.00 Visitors are 2.00 Children are free. We offer free tea, coffee and squash with cakes and biscuits. Meetings take place on the first Saturday of the month. Every month we have free fun activities for all the family to enjoy. Please note that parents/carers are responsible for their children at all times.
