We deeply appreciate your generosity in supporting our annual Angel Tree Project. We always strive to adopt a local family in need of a little help, especially during the holiday season. Donations were gathered the first two weeks of December and gifts wrapped on December 17th. Gifts were delivered to our adopted family on December 18th! There are two young children who had a much merrier Christmas thanks to your efforts!

Administrator Notes I am in awe of how quickly 2018 has flown by. I arrived at Grand Pines exactly one year ago. Looking back over this year, we have seen many things happen together. We sadly said goodbye to many friends/residents at Grand Pines as they passed from this life. And at the same time, we also saw the miracle of new life happen with several staff members and in your families, as well. We celebrated two 100th birthdays, and even a 101st! We have shared fun times with musicians, magicians, vintage cars and vintage clothes. We have tossed balloons, traveled around the world from our arm chairs, we have painted nails, played bingo, and try as I might to attend, I am happy to report though second hand that many have enjoyed men s club. This year, like every other that has come before, will present unique opportunities and challenges for us all. Your Grand Pines Management Team looks forward to navigating through those experiences with you. If you have not met each person on this team, I encourage you to find time to do so. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you who your Management Team is, and each area of expertise and focus: Administrator: Kelly Miller Resident Services Coordinator: Shay Klopf Community Relations: Liz McCoy Chef: Luis Globig Resource Manager: Kayleigh Gagnon Life Enrichment Coordinator: Sandi Stephans Maintenance Manager: Mike Goldman Housekeeping Manager: Luke Bourne We all wish you many blessing for the new year. And in the words of the C.S. Lewis: There are far, far, better things ahead than any we leave behind. Welcome 2019! All my best Kelly Outings and Announcements Please join us Friday, January 25th as we Jazz up January with dinner and live music! You must have a reservation to attend this event as seating is limited. Please use the RSVP form in the newsletter to reserve your space. We look forward to seeing you there! Thursday, January 31 We will be going out to lunch at Russ (weather permitting). The bus will begin loading at 11:30am. Please sign up with Sandi, Chris or Alyssa if you would like to go.
