Key to Schedule of the MSI System Patient: All activities indicated in green and yellow belong to the Clinical Performance Develoent course (CPD formerly PoM1 and PoM2). Intro to Anatomy Lab/ Lab Tour All activities in purple are wet labs scheduled in the gross anatomy lab. Dermatology I - Benign & malignant lesions All activities in pink are interdisciplinary/integrated small group sessions developed by the MSI Topic Subgroups ( Nerve/Muscle, Skin, Skeleton ). Only 50% of the designated time for these sessions can be devoted to lecture. Lab - Spinal Cord & Spinal Nerves All sessions divided into two halves are sessions in which one half of the class, e.g., Group A is dissecting in the gross anatomy lab. The other half of the class Group B may be scheduled in an activity during this time provided that it can be duplicated (exactly) for the students in Group A on the same day or the following day. NerveTissue/ NMJ Session 1 All activities in turquoise are (TBL) exercises. These exercises all follow a similar, specific format and are required in each of the Systems.

Key to Schedule of the MSI System (cont.) Expert Panel Discussion: Sports Medicine All activities in cayenne are interdisciplinary/integrated panel discussions. SIM: Health Literacy SIM activities belong to the Social Issues in Medicine Course. Study All activities in cantaloupe are hours set aside for students to study and prepare for dissections, in-class and online quizzes, TBL sessions and practical exams. Formative Practical Exam All activities in gray are traditional student assessments (MCQ quizzes and exams; practical exams).
