Winter hours are in effect and are posted at the club and on website. RESERVATIONS: 217.529.1511. REMINDERS & NOTICES: If anyone has news of a member who is sick or has passed away please contact the Secretary or one of the board members so that we can send a card on behalf of the club membership. There are two logbooks in the bar under the large screen TV; one is for recording hours worked and the other is to list your name if you need work hours. Please remember to record any work hours that you work and sign up to get your hours in.

COMMODORE: SCOTT DAY Please attend the November membership meeting, as we will present the slate of officers for the 2017-18 year. According to the By- laws, the slate will remain open up until the December meeting to give members an opportunity to have their name placed on the ballot. Anyone wishing to run for a director s position, please contact Ann McCaughan at ann.mccaughan@comcast.net in writing. VICE COMMODORE: GREG HAMENDE Previous Events: The Dock Party was a great evening. Thanks to Bob and Jenny Krell for chairing the event. The Kids Halloween Party was a fun event! Thanks to Larry and Kelly McVey for chairing the event. Thanks to Stan and Doris Rich for chairing the Adult Halloween Party! Upcoming Events: Sunday, November 6th: Fall Work Day. FLEET CAPTAIN: SCOTT SHEETS Fleet news: Dock 7 has been sold. There are three lease slips available. If you are interested in a lease slip, please be sure your name is on the waiting list. We have a volunteer to pressure wash the docks on the upcoming workday, but could use more volunteers for other projects. SMBC Fleet Captain Scott Sheets Ssheets1@att.net 306-7206 GROUNDS DIRECTOR: MIKE HAMENDE Work day is this Sunday, November 6th. We need members to bring leaf blowers and weed eaters to work on the grounds/leaves. We could use an extra riding mower to mulch leaves. Thanks to Pat Bumpus for his help in landscaping and seeding in front of the club. Thanks to Jim Rapps for organizing the fall Bocce ball league. The team of Jim Rapps and Todd Hayes got first place, Sue Semon and Mike Hamende took a close second. We plan to do leagues next year also. BUILDING DIRECTORS: BOB KRELL & BRUCE OBERREITER All Building operations are going well; leaking unit over bay room has been repaired. SECRETARY: ANN MCCAUGHAN As secretary, I am reliant on club members to provide me with information that needs dissemination to the greater membership, especially regarding Good and Welfare. Please be sure to contact me if you are aware of any members or family members who should receive the clubs condolences or blessings. I can be contacted via email at ann.mccaughan@comcast.net, or via telephone at 208-221- 9795 with that information. In addition, we are working diligently to ensure all members are getting emails, and continue to receive reports that not everyone is receiving them. If you are not getting club emails, please email me directly at the above address and I will manually check your email in the system.
