Making Strides Against Breast Cancer A Walk to Save Lives Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society's premier event to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. But it s more than just the name of a walk it describes the amazing progress we re making together to defeat this disease. Since 1993, nearly 6 million walkers have raised more than $400 million through Making Strides. In 2009 alone, 700,000 walkers across the country collected nearly $60 million to help fight breast cancer. During 2008, the state of Florida had more than 60,000 participants in 28 cities that raised more than $5.6 million. $5,000 - Supporting Sponsors Sponsors at this level receive naming rights to one of the event s key areas. Choose from any of the following opportunities, and you will receive the amenities highlighted below: Kickoff Sponsor Your Company will be the exclusive kickoff sponsor for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. You will receive maximum exposure by having your logo on the kickoff invitation (8,000+ invites), the opportunity to have a promotional table & materials at the kickoff. Additionally, your company banner will be displayed at the kickoff event and a representative from your organization will be able to address the guests from the main stage (5 minutes). Survivor Sponsor Breast cancer survivors are an inspiration to this event! You will receive prominent signage at the survivor area the day of the event. Additionally, your company logo will be printed on all pre-event print materials distributed to breast cancer survivors, including invitations for the reception that will be mailed to more than 300+ local breast cancer survivors. Registration Sponsor Participants will check-in at registration to turn in money and pick up additional materials and information. You will receive prominent signage at the registration area and have the opportunity to have employees from your company serve as registration volunteers, wearing your company shirts & using your company s pens! Sold Breast Cancer Education Sponsor (Exclusive to Medical Organization)- Throughout the year your Breast Cancer Specialists will be given opportunities to speak at several Making Strides Events including Corporate Luncheon, Early Bird and Regular Kickoff Events, Bank Night Event, Survivor Reception and Making Strides Walk to educate attendants on the latest research and treatments for Breast Cancer. In addition you re Specialists will also have the opportunity to do on-air interviews about Breast Cancer with our Media Partners Mix 105.1, Jamz and possibly Bright House Networks and Bright House Networks Spanish. $2,500 Pink Ribbon Sponsor Nine Exclusive Opportunities As a Pink Ribbon Sponsor, you will receive recognition at one of the following event areas. Only nine opportunities are available at this level. Choose from one of the following opportunities: Main Water Station Sponsor The main water station near the start of the walk on Rosalind Street is a hotspot for all participants both before and after the walk. Additional Sponsorship Opportunities SOLD Bank Night Sponsorship- Exclusive Opportunity $2000 You will receive recognition signage and the opportunity to speak during the 2010 MSABC Bank Night event. You will receive exposure to over 500 teams, including those from key companies in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Sumter counties. Your company logo will also be on Bank Night invitations sent to over 500 teams. Route Water Station (3) $1000 each You will receive prominent signage at one of the route water stations throughout our Downtown walking route. Courtesy Golf Carts - Exclusive Opportunity $1000 These golf carts accompany walkers along the event route to provide support to event participants & volunteers. Vehicle signage provides great exposure for your company along the event route and is seen by over 25,000 walkers. Your company logo will also be on signage at designated Courtesy Pick Up locations. Your company must provide a total of (6) Golf Carts for use at the event. Courtesy Golf Cart Sponsor to provide - (3) utility golf carts for MSABC Committee - (3) six passenger golf carts to pick up walkers unable to complete route Finish Line Food and Beverage Sponsors $200 (6 available) Your company will have the opportunity to set up a table in the Food and Beverage tent to provide small snacks to participants as they return from the Walk.
