HELLO THERE If you ve just found us, it s nice to meet you. Sustainable Coastlines is a young, multi-award winning New Zealand charity run by a small team of hard-working staff and a network of passionate volunteers. We love our coasts and we work with our sleeves rolled up to keep them beautiful. We coordinate and support largescale coastal clean-up events, educational programs, public awareness campaigns, riparian planting activities and other projects. We also help groups to run their own events, which is where you come into the picture. By working with us you will not only have access to our team s years of knowledge and experience running events: you will also be supporting our ongoing work with schools and communities that consistently delivers outstanding results. OUR IMPACT As at April 2015 41,319 117,946 1,059,875 19,934 Event participants Presentation attendees Litres of rubbish picked-up Trees planted beside waterways

TAILORED EVENTS Outside of our major events and educational projects, we work with corporate groups around New Zealand on tailored events to suit your needs. These events have proven to be a great way to get organisations involved with our work not only for the good of the environment, but for the good of your staff too: clean-ups are great team-building exercises. For this service we charge a modest fee to help us cover our time and other logistical costs. We have vast experience running events and have successfully coordinated anywhere up to 3,000 people in one day. We have an impeccable safety record and extraordinary results that speak for themselves. We also create unique opportunities for groups to be involved in our large-scale community events: an excellent way to generate positive coverage while working alongside your local community. To further enhance your experience we can also offer food and hospitality packages to congratulate your deserved team for their hard work. So whether it is simply getting out of the workplace to clean up your favourite beach, planting a local waterway, a nautical adventure to an offshore island or a full multiday retreat for staff and clients to a unique location, we can create an innovative plan that your team, and brand, will love. Just want to thank you for an amazingly awesome well organised event! Everyone there enjoyed themselves immensely. A great cause put together in a way that was a pleasure for all. This partnership has been fantastic for bringing our staff together, building our team engagement, and providing our staff with the opportunity to make a difference. It has also given Lantern Insurance some brand awareness and brand exposure around the work we are doing in the community with Sustainable Coastlines. Casio Sinclair Coastal Clean-up Volunteer Bart Taylor Head of Lantern Insurance

why WORK TOGETHER? Our events have been proven to enhance staff relationships and identify leaders within organisations. Because our projects always include an educational angle, working with us means that your team will gain an in-depth understanding of how their participation contributes to the bigger picture. Alongside this unique experience for your staff, we also help you generate highly valuable marketing content. After each event we deliver personalised event results breakdown and high-quality images of the activity: perfect for sustainability reporting and promoting your involvement in community initiatives that protect the coastlines we all love. We also post your event, results and photos to our extensive online network and feature it on our website: fantastic ongoing promotion for your work with us. By working hands-on with a wellrespected local charity to look after places that are dear to everyone s hearts, you will develop unique opportunities for positive exposure and media coverage. We have years of experience working with local, national and international media, and are happy to work with you on media opportunities surrounding your event. The day was a complete success and a perfect reflection of the environmental values our organisations share. As well as being educational, it served as a great team-building activity for our staff and a rare opportunity for the families to get to know each other while doing something fun and rewarding. With your help, we were successful in being accredited with an International Standard relating to environmental business practice. We also received a personal commendation from our company Chief Executive in Los Angeles no mean feat when you consider that AECOM is 52,000 people in more than 100 countries. Daniel Wrigley Marketing & Comms Advisor, AECOM NZ Our website, your event

LEt s TALK If you would like to work with us, we would love to hear from you. When you get in touch, simply have in mind an idea of what dates suit and an indication of how many people will attend.
