Key words: llium, growth regultors, gierelli id, enzyldenine INTRODUCTION Gierelli id nd enzyldenine re used in the ultivtion of ornmentl plnts in order to elerte the flowering, inrese the flower yield nd improve flower qulity. When exogenous gierelline is pplied onto ul plnts it stimultes their flowering, elongtes stlks [shutosh et l. 2000, Dntuluri nd Misr 2002, Dhimn et l. 2002] nd inreses the yield of uls [Shkhd nd Gjipr 1998]. When is pplied onto the tulip ul it hnges the pperne of the flowers [Sniewski et l. 1997], slows down stlk growth nd inreses stlk thikness [Kw-Miszzk et l. 1992]. The im of this reserh ws to define the effet of gierelli id nd enzyldenine on the yield of llium krtviense Ivory Queen. Gierelli id (G 3 ) nd enzyldenine () were pplied. The sustnes in the onentrtion of 500 mgdm -3 were pplied in the form of 60-minute ul soking prior to plnting or plnt sprying in the green ud phse. uls with the irumferene of 12 entimeters were plnted on the 1 m 2 plots in three rows with 10 uls in eh row. Three repetitions were pplied. The plot served s the repetition. The reserh defined morphologil trits of infloresene in the period of full flowering. The tests foused on the yield of uls from the plot. The results were nlysed sttistilly y mens of vrine nlysis for doule lssifition, evluting the signifine of differenes y mens of Turkey s onfidene intervls t the level of signifine of = 0.05. RESULTS ND DISCUSSION Gierelli id ffeted morphologil trits of llium krtviense s infloresene. In the two yers of ultivtion, the following ws oserved: the elongtion of infloresene shoots nd n inresed numer of flowers in the infloresene fter the pplitions of this io-regultor oth in the form of ul soking prior to plnting, nd plnt sprying on the green ud (t. 1). similr retion (inresed numer of flowers) to the ul soking in G 3 ws oserved in se of lily plnt in the experiment y Dhimn et l. [2002]. The effet of infloresene shoot elongtion ws noted y Dntuluri nd Misr [2002] on Lilium multum nd y shutosh et l. [2000] on Hemnthus multiflorus, lthough G does not lwys use the elongtion of the ulous plnts stlks [Kurtr nd yn 2005]. In eh yer of the study, those plnts tht hd een spryed with G 3 grew their infloresene lrger thn the ontrolled ones. Sprying enzyldenine on the plnts lso hd positive effet on the numer of flowers in infloresene oth in 2005 nd 2006. ffteted Lilium multum in similr wy, leding to the growth of the lrgest numer of flowers per plnt, in the experiment rried out y Dntuluri nd Misr [2002]. No effet of the used io-regultors on the dimeter of infloresene shoots ws oserved in either of the two yers. In the first yer of the oservtion it ws noted tht G 3 pplied in the form of ul soking hd positive effet on the totl yield expressed in the numer of uls (t. 2). In the seond yer of the reserh, oth G 3 nd pplied in oth forms led to the greter numer of uls in the totl yield. The io-regultors tht were used in oth yers of the reserh led to n inrese, ompred to the ontrol, of the totl yield expressed in the ul weight, in the oth methods of pplition. n inrese in llium ep ul yield fter the pplition of G 3 ws oserved y Shkhd nd Gjipr [1998], nnt nd Mury [2001], Poonm et l.
