If you are taking a Certification Course, you may attend Sunday s workshops free of charge! Learn how to design a shallow water class using working positions to vary impact and intensity. Hundreds of movement variations and techniques provide multi-level options and opportunities for your participants and help keep your programs innovative. LUNCH - NETWORKING & SHOPPING 12:15-1:30 PM 1:30-2:45 pm (L) HIPS, KNEES, BACK PROBLEMS Review common hip conditions such as the Total Hip Replacement and Osteoarthritis. Review common knee conditions such as Total Knee Replacements and Osteoarthritis. Understand why back problems affect 80 percent of the population at one time or another. Examine how these common conditions may be effectively integrated into water programming. 2:45 4:00 pm (L/S) SHAPE UP & WATER TRAIN Let s not let them float. This workshop will establish some strategies in exercise design to maximize weight loss and programming for the obese clientele specific to water fitness. This shallow water program will demonstrate an inventory of calorie burning exercises especially for clients with an excess of 30% or more body fat. Help your students with co-ordination and agility with a variety of new moves. We will examine how water moves need to be carefully blended to the water so that intensity needs are met for all fitness levels.
