Bylaws Amendments Vote ARTICLE X COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS If the organization is ASUC or GA Sponsored, Aall unspent ASUC (Associated Students of the University of California) funds shall return to the remain the property of ASUC; all Graduate Assembly funds shall return to the remain the property of the Graduate Assembly. If the organization is defunct for five (5) or more years, any privately obtained funds (including any privately obtained funds left in miscellaneous accounts) shall be donated to the following nonprofit organization: SWE. In the event that the designated nonprofit organization no longer exists or has ceased to be a nonprofit, then the unspent funds shall be donated to the ASUC. Remaining privately-obtained funds will be donated to Region A of SWE upon approval of the ASUC Senate Finance Committee. We will not haze according to California State Law; we will not restrict membership based upon race, color, national origin, religion, sex, physical and mental disability, medical condition (cancer-related or genetic characteristics), ancestry, marital status, age, sexual orientation, citizenship or status as a covered veteran (special disabled veteran, Vietnam-era veteran or any other veteran who served on active duty during a war or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized). All amendments, additions or deletions to this document must be filed with the ASUC Office of Student Affairs, Lead Center in 432 400 Eshleman Hall. within one week of adoption.
