Charity Persuasive Presentations I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do. ~Edward Everett Hale Task: You will research an existing charity of your choice in an effort to persuade the class to vote for their charity to receive a donation. The presentation should be 3 to 5 minutes in length. At the conclusion of the presentations, the class will vote on the charity to which they wish to contribute. The charity receiving the most votes will receive 10 bonus points added to their grade. The Requirements: 3 minute presentation using PowerPoint Presentations should have an introduction (something to hook your audience to listen to your presentation) Presentations should have at least 2 persuasive points explaining the benefits of the contribution Presentations should have at least 6 facts about the charity Presentations should have a conclusion (give your audience a sense of closure) Presentations should include a quote from the organization The Procedure: The key to a successful presentation is to be creative and to work diligently with the time that is given to you.
