growing well to eat better 2017

N CYCLE AND BEHAVIOUR IN SOIL Today, over 46% of the nitrogen used in agriculture is distributed in the form of urea that is not always able to maximise its efficiency. When the fertilizer is spread on the field, if it doesn t rain following the application, the fertilizer remains on the first centimers of the soil and the phenomena of nitrogen volatilization can occur. Indeed, urea is hydrolysed in ammoniac (a volatile molecule) and carbon dioxyde. If this reaction takes place in the first 15-20 centimeters of the soil, ammoniac reacts with water and is transformed in nitrogen ammoniacal (NH4+), which is trapped form in the soil. Then, the nitrogen ammoniacal is transfomed in nitrogen nitric (NO3-) by bacterias. This form of nitrogen is the predominant form absorbed by plant s roots, but in case of heavy rains or irrigation, the nitrogen is leached in the soil s dephts and it becomes unavailable for plant s roots. In case of water stagnates or soil compaction, the denitrification process may take place causing a loss of nitrogen from soil to atmosphere (N2 e NOx). Organic nitrogen in soil undergoes mineralization process, while the mineral nitrogen compound can be immobilized in the organic particles, dependind on the ratio carbon/nitrogen in the soil. The method which allows an increase of the urea efficiency is based on urea hydrolyse inhibiter molecules, like NBPT. ADVANTAGES OF USE OF NBPT IN OUR FERTILIZERS 1. Increased efficiency of nitrogen (REDUCE LOSSES by volatilization), with consequent decrease of the doses of use and decrease in the number of interventions (MAXIMUM BENEFIT WITH LOWER COSTS). 2. Increased production efficiency (GREATER AVAILABILITY OF THE NUTRIENTS FOR THE PLANT). 3. Best vegetative-productive balance (STABILIZATION OF NITROGEN OVER TIME)

A family of special granular fertilizers characterized by different types of release of nutrients (nitrogen). These fertilizers are ideal for basic applications and coverage. - Original products of high quality (soluble phosphorus and assimilated) - Uniformity of granules - Dust free - Greater agronomic efficiency : reduction of nitrogen losses by leaching and volatilization - Presence of different forms of nitrogen for a prolonged availability over time, throughout the crop cycle - Combination of nitrogen and sulphur for higher protein content in cereals CereaS 38.0.0+18SO 3 NitroSlow 33 33.0.0+ 30SO 3 with NBPT NitroSlow S 40 40.0.0+13SO 3 with NBPT NitroSlow 46 46.0.0 with NBPT StarSlow 30.15.0 with NBPT CROP APPLICATION Horticultural and floral crops, sugarbeets, apple tree, pear tree, grapevine, olive tree, citrus tree, nursery plants and grass Control Slow release nitrogen MasterCote Controlled released nitrogen 500 12.6.14+30SO 3 +2MgO+0,02B+0,01 Zn 1,5% Nitrogen ureic 5,5% NItrogen ammoniacal 5,0% Slow release nitrogen (formaledhyde urea) 18.9.18+SO 3 10,5% Nitrogen ureic 7,5% NItrogen ammoniacal 5,0% Controlled release nitrogen (coated urea) ORGANIC for Organic Farming BioAger * 3,5.6.10+10C-Org+10CaO+2MgO+18SO 3 BioCere 5.5.5+20 C-Org Biorganic 12.0.0+40 C-Org BioSfera* 8.3.3 + C-Org + 5CaO+ 9SO 3 *Granules Family of fertilizers destinated for Organic Farming which is characterized by an organic array releasing progressively nutrients.
