May 2016 Employee of the Month Melanie Montana
Melanie is a prominent member of our Group Exercise Team who is loved in all studios. Melanie teaches the full spectrum from babies through seniors, and she loves everything she does and the lives she touches. Her first and true love is dance, and she has incorporated her professional theater talents in every class that she teaches. To complete her repertoire of certifications, Melanie is pursuing her AEA certification, and you will also soon find her teaching in the Group Exercise pool and deep water! She participates in yoga, water aerobics, swimming, as well as working with personal trainer Shauna Navarro. When she joined the center, she wanted to become more fit. Marlene feels like she is reaching her potential without worrying that she is overextending because of Shauna's assistance. She feels stronger and more confident, and she loves the activities in which she participates. Keep up the good work, Marlene!

Meet our newest Cafe team member: Helena Saddler Helena became the newest member of the WGR Cafe team in April. While not working, Helena is busy being a mother for her two young boys. In her spare time, she likes to read and have fun with her family. Helena would love to get to know new members, so please stop by the Cafe for a quick introduction! Medical Fitness Association We are happy to announce that we have recently been recertified by the Medical Fitness Association as a Certified Medically Based Fitness Center. Participant Feedback: This is just a quick note to tell you how great the small group classes are. Because of the limited class size, you get personal attention from the trainer while working at your own pace. The class I am in has a very good balance of cardiac, agility, strength, and flexibility exercises. I would encourage all to participate. -Bill I firmly believe that I have become a better runner because of my cross-training with the assistance of Lisa Kulnis and the Small Group Training classes I have taken. Have you had a chance to determine your Polar Body Age? See any fitness specialist to schedule your fitness assessment and find out! Our fitness team will also work with you design an exercise program to help you accomplish your goals and reduce your body age. Members can have an assessment every three months. If you were tested for your Polar Body Age in February, you are eligible to schedule a reassessment in order to track your progress! The William G.
