TICKET PICK-UP: You will pick up your tour tickets at the Symposia Medicus conference check-in desk on Wednesday, October 19 beginning at 7:00am CANCELLATIONS: Tour cancellations must be made prior to Wednesday, September 28, 2016. After this date, tours are no longer refundable. If a group tour is cancelled by the tour company, full refunds will be made. Group Tour Descriptions Old Lahaina Luau Thursday, October 20 ~ 5:00pm-9:15pm DESCRIPTION As you arrive, you will be greeted with a fresh flower lei, tropical drink, and a personalized souvenir program of the evening. The Luau will begin with Hawaiian history and an opportunity to walk the beautiful luau grounds, with ocean views and breathtaking Maui sunset. Dinner is served buffet style and includes Kalua roast pork, Laulau (pork wrapped in Luau leaf steamed to perfection), Poi, Ahi Poke (marinated raw Ahi tuna), Big Island sweet potato, grilled tenderloin steak, chicken long rice, island-style chicken, Maui-style Mahi-Mahi (chef s special preparation), stir fry vegetables, local-style fried rice, island crab salad, taro leaf salad with coconut sauce, Pohole salad (fern shoots), Lomi Lomi salmon (salmon mixed with tomatoes and onions), banana bread, fresh island fruit, assorted island desserts, freshly-baked Taro rolls, and Haupia (a traditional hawaiian dessert). A full bar is open during the entire show. The Old Lahaina Luau show begins with the Hula as it was meant to be performed, with respect and honor for our ancestors. It will begin with the history of Polynesian migration, then the ancient Hawaiian Hula, followed by the evolution of more contemporary style Hula. You re sure to enjoy this luau with great views, food, drinks, and entertainment. COST & INCLUSIONS $115 per person (13 years and older) $79 per child (3-12 years) Children 2 years and under are complimentary Includes: Luau feast, open bar, taxes & gratuities TRANSPORTATION You must provide your own transportation to the Luau. Options include: 1. The Westin Resort offers free shuttle service for hotel guests that present their room key. You will take the shuttle to Lahaina Cannery Mall, which is located across the street from the Old Lahaina Luau. The shuttle departs at 4:15pm, and does not pick up again until 5:15pm. You will then take the shuttle back to the hotel (from the Lahaina Cannery Mall) when the Luau ends. Please note the shuttle has limited seating and is first come, first served. 2. Your rental car 3. Public bus service (costs approximately $2 each way, per person, must have exact change) NOTES 4. () Molokini Snorkeling Adventure Friday, October 21 ~ 6:30am-12:00pm DESCRIPTION You will board a bus for a 30-minute drive to Maalaea Harbor. Cruise, snorkel, and take in the beauty of Molokini Island, with warm crystal waters and surrounding reefs, and colorful fish. You will have approximately three hours of snorkeling (depending on the weather) on this tour. A continental breakfast and a BBQ lunch will also be provided. Snorkel gear is provided at no additional charge, however, you may bring your own if you want to. Breakfast includes an assortment of fresh pastries and muffins, fresh island fruit, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fruit juices. BBQ lunch includes cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, marinated Maui chicken, vegetables, condiments, and pasta salad. Fountain drinks, beer on tap, Mai Tais, juice, and water are also included. COST & INCLUSIONS $145 per person (13 years and older) $109 per child (3-12 years) Children 2 years and under are complimentary Includes: Round trip transportation, cruise, snorkel equipment and instruction, continental breakfast, BBQ lunch, and taxes. Gratuities are not included. NOTES Meet in Hotel Lobby by 6:20am Wear a bathing suit under your beach cover, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and change of clothes. Don t forget to bring your ID for alcoholic beverages, a towel, and camera!
