DIRECTIONS FOR USE IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product. RESTRICTIONS After application to wheat, some transient leaf speckling may occur, these are normally outgrown and do not affect yield. Resistance Management To avoid resistance do not apply repeated applications of MONKEY TM alone on the same crop against the same disease. In such situations use an appropriate tank-mix or alternate with another fungicide with a different mode of action. Where resistance occurs, MONKEY may not give adequate disease control. Consult the latest advice from FRAG UK and FRAC regarding disease resistance strategies. MONKEY contains DMI fungicides. Resistance to some DMI fungicides has been identified in Septoria leaf blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola) which may seriously affect the performance of some products. For further advice on resistance management in DMIs contact your agronomist or specialist advisor and visit the FRAG-UK website. MONKEY may be used on all varieties of wheat (excluding durum), barley, rye and oilseed rape. 2

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION INCLUDING DISEASES CONTROLLED Diseases Rate of use and volume of water Maximum individual dose Maximum total dose Timing and Recommendations WHEAT, BARLEY AND RYE apply at any time up to before grain milky ripe stage and 6 weeks before harvest. Eyespot in wheat, barley and rye Yellow rust and brown rust in wheat, barley and rye Powdery mildew in wheat, barley and rye Rhyncosporium (leaf blotch) in barley and rye Septoria leaf spot and glume blotch in wheat Ear disease complex in wheat Net blotch in barley 1.5 L/ha in 200 L/ha water. Use a higher volume of 250 L/ha in dense crops after the first node is detectable and 300 L/ha in large or susceptible crops. 3.0 L/ha Apply as disease appears, from leaf sheath becoming erect to 1st node detectable stage. Make a follow-up application 4-6 weeks later if weather conditions favour eyespot development, but before the third node detectable stage in wheat, barley or rye. Apply as disease appears. A repeat application may be necessary 2-3 weeks later. Applications made to established infections are likely to be less effective. Apply at first signs of disease (also see Resistance Section). Applications made to established infections or to particularly disease susceptible varieties are likely to be less effective. Apply at first signs of disease and repeat 2-3 weeks later as required. Applications made to disease susceptible varieties in high-risk situations are likely to be less effective. Apply from flag leaf emergence (GS 37) up to before grain milky ripe stage (GS 75). To effectively control leaf spot apply when disease is active but not visible, once symptoms are present control will be more diffcult. Apply soon after ear emergence to give reduction of Fusarium ear blight and sooty moulds (Alternaria and Cladosporium). Apply at first signs of disease. A repeat application may be necessary where conditions remain favourable for disease development. OILSEED RAPE apply at any time up to and including most seeds are at green stage. Sclerotinia stem rot 1.5 L/ha in 200 3.0 L/ha Apply at early flower to first petal fall. May also give 400 L/ha water. reduction of light Use the higher leaf spot and volume where Alternaria, if present crop is dense. at the time of application. 3
