Message from your President Robin Morley Well, well, well, our fiscal year of SBSC is quickly approaching. We have been very fortunate in the growth of our membership. I would like to cordially say welcome to our new members. We will have a new year of fun-filled shag events planned for you so please make every effort to attend all of SBSC s functions. I had the honor of representing Sandy Beach at the winter workshop in Spartanburg, SC. It is very apparent that we have but SBSC on the map. I heard wonderful things from SOS officers and ACSC board members. This is just a wonderful thing!!!!!! I think the greatest compliment that I heard was that we were a dancing group and that the DJ s just love playing for us. I always after each party send a card or e-mail to the DJ expressing our Thanks, Gene Hensley responded with many kind words about our members, Those were the nicest folks. They were so friendly and helpful, Pat and I had a ball. These are the statements that make us so proud of SBSC. Springtime is almost here. We have lots to look forward to. We will have our April party at Friday Friends on Sunday afternoon. If you have any suggestions for party ideas please let me know. Always share your fun times about other clubs either through our website at www.sandybeachshagclub.com/forum/forum http://www.sandybeachshagclubcom or write something for the newsletter. It is always a treat for Arlene Coley to get new material for the newsletter. Our re-up party will be in May so start looking now for really good silent auction donations. Please put a little time and effort into this, and remember if you do not bring a donation, monetary donations are graciously accepted. You will be receiving more information on this soon. SBSC is constantly striving to become better and better. Each member is the back bone of our club and without you and your help we are not as strong. It is truly a pleasure to be a member of this club and an honor to be your president. We have a hard working group of officers, board members, Committee chairpersons but we have the most AWESOME members. Until the next message: United we Dance Yours in Dancing, Robin

A BIG Thank you! SBSC Thank you SBSC members for making Buzzards in Lenoir a success. It really is a neat place to go on a Friday night. Your love for music, dance, and friendships has given me so many opportunities to be among friends and still enjoy my hobby as a DJ. It was great to see William hit the dance floor after being away from us recuperating. He just couldn't stand sitting any more. The music vibrating off the floor to his feet to his heart got him. I really look forward to our Sunday SOS kickoff at the old Boardwalk. SOS is just around the corner! HitMan
