Background Indonesia and other ASEAN countries were affected by pandemic influenza (H1N1) due to multiple access to cross the border of the country. Trans boundary transmission become multi sector and regional responsibility to respond the pandemic as emerging infectious disease in ASEAN. Strengthening regional cooperation in order to have a better preparedness and response is the effective way to prevent cross border transmission. ASEAN TWGPPR takes a significant role to enhance multi sector capacity of the member state. AI (+) 2005 May 2010 (165 +), death 137 (CFR 82,2%) 13 provinces and 13 clusters
