HIV/AIDS ISSUES COMMITTEE Reviewed the HIV Prevention and Care Services Plan and made recommendations to vote for Concurrence with Reservation Made recommendations for 2013 Cross Part Collaborative Performance Measures Created the NJHPG Stigma Workgroup Drafted a Letter to Governor Christie, asking him to revise his position on Medicaid Expansion and Health Insurance Exchange

GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE Prioritized gaps in NJHPG membership and nominated four individuals to the slate for election in March 2012 Prioritized gaps in NJHPG membership and nominated eight individuals to the slate for election in September 2012

GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE Revised the NJHPG Membership Application Created the NJHPG Annual Demographics Form Revised the NJHPG By-Laws to streamline Nominations, Membership Re-Appointment and Chair and Vice-Chair Elections Continuing work on the NJHPG Policy and Procedures Manual

MSM WORKGROUP Conducted two focus groups to gather information from HIV service providers on condom use and current condom distribution plans at agencies Made recommendations to DHSTS for a Statewide Condom Distribution Plan Developed a distribution plan for the MSM Glossary Available through HIV Prevention CPSDI staff

PREVENTION & CARE COLLABORATIVE WORKGROUP Created a Model and Narrative for HIV Prevention and Care and Treatment Collaborative Activities Model was distributed throughout the state and incorporated into the SCSN Document, Part B Comprehensive Plan and the HIV Prevention and Care Services Plan

WOMEN AND HIV WORKGROUP Finalized recommendations for Foreign Born Women with HIV Submitted to DHSTS for review and included in the HIV Prevention and Care Services Plan

NJHPG LETTERS OF SUPPORT AND COLLABORATIONS

LETTERS OF SUPPORT March - DHSTS grant application for Ryan White Part B Supplemental Funding from HRSA May Making It Possible to End Homelessness grant application to HRSA for housing service funds

CONCURRENCE October Letter of Concurrence with Reservation, to the CDC, based upon the lack of funding for Syringe Service Programs (SSP), a proven, science-based intervention for IDUs and their partners

COLLABORATIONS Collaborated with Sacramento in a peer program to exchange best practices on planning, strategies and interventions lead to the NPIN format for the resource directory and the concept of webbased condom ordering Test and Treat Collaborations in all 21 New Jersey Counties Including collaborations with the Middlesex- Somerset-Hunterdon TGA, the Bergen-Passaic TGA, the Hudson County TGA, the Newark EMA and the Philadelphia EMA
