City of Central Falls Bid Number 20170008 REQUEST FOR DESIGN-BUILD RESPONSES FOR INSTALLATION OF LIGHTING IN CITY PARKS ***Addendum 1*** September 27, 2017
The attention of Respondents submitting bids for the above-referenced project is called to the following Addendum to the Bid Request indicated above. This Addendum, whether of omission, addition, substitution, or other change shall be incorporated as part of the Bid Request referenced above. Acknowledgement of this addendum must be included in the Response Form. Failure to do so may cause rejection by the City as an incomplete bid. Addendum items: THE OFFERING (ADD) While there are no existing conditions documents beyond what was included in the RFP, City Staff will be made available to share knowledge of existing conditions to the selected Respondent. Once a Respondent is selected, they will be required to provide drawings to satisfy electrical permit and electrical service processes. No other record drawings for the City will be required. The City will avail relevant staff to participate in necessary conversations with National Grid, as required to complete the project on time and on budget. Prior to submission of a Response, the Respondent shall acquaint themselves with the locations and site conditions of the sites included in this solicitation. APPENDIX A (SUBSTITUTE) Response Form The provided revised response form is required for all proposals. Bids without this form will be deemed incomplete and will not be accepted. APPENDIX B APPENDIX C (ADD) Sacred Heart Park does not have electrical service. Service will need to be coordinated with National Grid. (ADD) Dexter Plaza does not have electrical service. Service will need to be coordinated with National Grid. (ADD) Garfield Community Garden has sufficient electrical service to run lighting. Respondent may elect to coordinate new service with National Grid, provided this does not result in increased operation cost to the City. (ADD) Coutu Memorial Park does not have electrical service. Service will need to be coordinated with National Grid. (ADD) Higginson Sports Complex Basketball Courts Higginson Sports Complex has sufficient electrical service to run lighting for the basketball courts. Respondent may elect to coordinate new service with National Grid, provided this does not result in increased operation cost to the City. (REMOVE) Cowden Courts will no longer be included in this Request for Bids
