MiMentor firmly believes mentoring is a team sport and when our mentees succeed we all win! Alliance in Mentorship (AIM) is a 501c3 non-profit organization with the mission to develop and support innovative mentoring opportunities for aspiring and current health care professionals. We launched www.mimentor.org, an on-line virtual mentoring community with over 500 aspiring and current healthcare professionals. MiMentor uses a social media platform like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Youtube featuring health professional mentoring video stories targeting Latino pre-health undergraduate students throughout the country. Our alliance includes undergraduate and professional institutions, and other key non-profit organizations that are committed to improving diversity of the healthcare workforce by providing readily accessible mentoring opportunities to low-income, first generation and underrepresented students.
