Athens Clark County Police Department and Advantage Behavioral Health Systems have partnered to

implement strategies to address the issue of high rates of criminal justice involvement for individuals with mental health issues. 2016 Graduate Research Assistant,, University of : The integration of healthy marriage & relationship education into family & children services project Assisted in the development of the Family Engagement portion of the program protocol manual. Specific focus on writing and implementation of the Trauma-Informed Care portion of program manual. Assisted in training for family engagement protocols of program staff. 2013 2016 PhD Candidate,, University of : PhD Dissertation Research Dissertation research investigated the collaborative efforts of a group of cross-sector organizations in Athens-Clarke County that have come together to provide services for individuals who are experiencing homelessness or those at risk of homelessness. This study focused on measuring interagency collaboration from the collective impact framework, as well as provided an assessment of trauma-informed care practice behaviors for each organization. Data collection methods included an online survey, focus groups, and individual interviews. 2011 2012 Graduate Research Assistant,, University of Assisted assigned faculty member with research and course preparation for BSW direct practice course. Engaged in individual research focusing on the complex issues surrounding trauma among individuals experiencing homelessness, as well as evidenced based practices to address these trauma issues. 2009 2010 Research Professional AD IV,, Kennesaw Collected, scanned, managed and analyzed data using Scantron technology, E-Listen software, and SPSS for the Cobb County School System Abstinence program and for the Kennesaw State University Social Work and Human Services Department. 2007 2008 Graduate Research Assistant,, Kennesaw Created surveys for the Human Services Department and collected data for the Abstinence program in Cobb County using E-listen software; graded tests using Par score software; input and analyzed data using SPSS; worked on the career fair portion of the NASW s Navigation to Graduation held at Kennesaw State University; and worked with my supervisor and other professors in the Human Services department on various projects.

2010 2011 Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Case Manager MUST Ministries, Marietta, Provided case management services to clients enrolled in Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program. Services included assisting clients in maintaining current housing and in finding affordable housing for individuals and families who are homeless. Referrals were made for clients to resources such as employment, financial, legal, medical, mental health and other needed services. Monitored client information and progress utilizing the Pathways database. Assisted the Program Director in the supervision of MSW interns. 2008 2010 Social Worker I, Family Links-Kin Care Emory University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, Canton, Provided home-based support services for relative caregivers of children three and under in Cherokee County. These services included counseling, referrals, developmental assessments, and ongoing support. Wrote semi-annual and annual grant reports for continued funding.
